So the week kicked off with my dad having a heart attack, but now he's fine. They gave him a stint... or is it stent.... whatever he's fine. So that lasted the first half the week. Then thursday through saturday was one non stop party. I ate shit riding my bike friday night, twisting my knee into a painful mess. I was really scared saturday when I couldn't really move the damn thing. But sunday morning it was feeling pretty ok and today it's on it's way to normal. I'm kind of bummed that I can't really do yoga till this thing has fixed itself.

However the really good news was the NIN and Jane's Addiction concert that was just announced. Pretty damn stoked about that.

So I ask you Mr. Last week of February, please be more mellow than last week. My heart, joints, and liver can't take much more of this.

So I took my doors off my cabinets to work to antique them. I'm this far so far. Done some spot remove and crackle.... now it's time to age them.

I was fucking crying at the bush bit. Dear lord. Seriously just watch the first couple of min. It's worth it. The second half eh not as good but the bush bit..... wonderful.

3. Legalizing gay marriage will open the door to all kinds of crazy behavior. People may even wish to marry their pets because a dog has legal standing and can sign a marriage contract.

4. Straight marriage has been around a long time and hasn’t changed at all; women are still property, blacks still can’t marry whites, and divorce is still illegal.

5. Straight marriage will be less meaningful if gay marriage were allowed; the sanctity of Britney Spears’ 55-hour just-for-fun marriage would be destroyed.

6. Straight marriages are valid because they produce children. Gay couples, infertile couples, and old people shouldn’t be allowed to marry because our orphanages aren’t full yet, and the world needs more children.

7. Obviously gay parents will raise gay children, since straight parents only raise straight children.

8. Gay marriage is not supported by religion. In a theocracy like ours, the values of one religion are imposed on the entire country. That’s why we have only one religion in America.

9. Children can never succeed without a male and a female role model at home. That’s why we as a society expressly forbid single parents to raise children.

10. Gay marriage will change the foundation of society; we could never adapt to new social norms.

I've tried all day to quell my outrage for the injustices done to fellow human beings by a bigoted majority. I've tried to stop my anger, but it's so hard. No matter how strong I think I am I keep finding the same hate in myself that stopped the gay community from getting their freedom. Again I try to not be angry but to understand what it will take for my friends to have their rights. It's a long and hard road to equality isn't it? It shouldn't be. Well over half of our nation recognized the changes needed in this nation and voted for them. Where were they on the rest of the issues? Maybe tomorrow I won't be so angry.

We passed 102. We're intolerant bigoted fucks out here in Arizona. Did you hear me the rest of the United States? Look at us! We're intolerant bigoted fucks out here in Arizona.

So screw you Arizona. And screw you lazy bastards who didn't get out and vote, and didn't help stop this.

I hang my head in shame for my state today.

Fun in the dirt
The dirt bike is running again! So dear friends, it has been wonderful spending weekends with you all, but I don't think I'm going to see to many of you anymore. Saturdays and sundays, i think, will be going back to the good ol' times of flying through the desert. Not to mention that snowboarding season is right around the corner, so I'll never be in town on a sunday again till the snow melts..... dear lord I hope we get a good snowfall this year.

If I don't get a good snowfall, I'm going to have some serious emotional problems. Thank god that bike is running, otherwise the thought of no snow might do some serious damage.
